Our Owner

With more than 25 years of experience in law enforcement, our owner brings a unique combination of professional driving knowledge, safety experience, education, and a lifelong passion for motorsports to Finish Line Driving School.

As a DPS-certified instructor, he understands that learning to drive is about much more than passing a road test. It is about developing the knowledge, awareness, judgment, and defensive driving skills necessary to make safe decisions every time you get behind the wheel.

His law enforcement career includes six years as a DUI Officer, providing firsthand experience with the dangers and devastating consequences of impaired driving. He also spent two years serving as a School Resource Officer in Mississippi public schools, working directly with students and families and gaining valuable insight into the challenges young drivers face.

Beyond his law enforcement career, he has spent more than 30 years involved in racing, including six years traveling nationally on a dirt racing series. That experience has provided an in-depth understanding of vehicle control, awareness, reaction time, and the importance of making good decisions behind the wheel.

At Finish Line Driving School, these experiences come together to provide students with instruction grounded in real-world experience—not just a textbook. Our goal is to give every student the skills and confidence to become a safe, responsible driver for life.
